More Updates on FrankBrunner.net!

Myrtle Beach Website Designer loves doing work on the Official Website of Living Art Legend Frank Brunner, which is why we are thrilled to be doing these most recent updates on Frank’s site!

Now, as you may have read a few days back, we mentioned another update.  But because of the….ahem, nature of those pictures, we didn’t feature any of them here.

Thankfully, this section of his site is a little more family-friendly (meaning all the characters are clothed), so we can feature a few of them:

This one is Conan & Red Sonja in Castle Cyclops.  Frank is the creator of Red Sonja.

This is Batman & Vampirella. For some reason, I’ve always been drawn to Vampi.

Get it? “Drawn” to her? I’m drawn….ah, forget it.

That’s John Carter and Deja Thoris, and the thing with the four arms is a Thark. If I were a betting man, I’d wager that they are about to fight.

This is one of my favorite pencil works from Frank. It’s called The Death of Doctor Strange. I love it’s detail.

Unfortunately, my blog is too narrow to show it at it’s best, so click on it so you can see it in a new window. Better yet, go to the Frank Brunner Commissions Page to see it all!

While the pictures on Frank’s site are great, there is nothing like physically seeing one in person. Frank has an amazing attention to the finest details. You’ve got to look really close to see how precise he is. Of course, even the untrained eye can appreciate the quality of his art.

If you’re considering purchasing artwork, and want to try something new and different, go to FrankBrunner.net and contact Frank to have him do something for you! He specializes in custom commission work. While his passion is in comic art, he can draw anything.

And tell him Myrtle Beach Website Designer sent you!

New Update on FrankBrunner.net!

Frank’s at it again!  Myrtle Beach Website Designer has been working with art legend Frank Brunner to update some of the artwork sections of his website, FrankBrunner.net!

Today, we are focusing on the updates to the Nudes section.  Now, in most section updates, we include some teaser pictures and encourage you to go to see more.  But because these are nude illustrations, and because the Myrtle Beach Website Design Blog is G-rated, we’ll only say that this section is for people over the age of 18, or whatever the age of adulthood is in your state/country/village!

That said, this artwork is not pornography, distasteful or objectifying.  This is artwork than can truly be appreciated by anyone with an open mind THAT IS OVER THE AGE OF 18!

So, if you match this criteria, and you want to see some tasetfully-done fantasy artwork, wherein some of the characters aren’t completely dressed, than go check out the updates to the Nudes Section of FrankBrunner.net!

“THANKS MYRTLE BEACH WEBSITE DESIGNER!”

I’m sure you remember my personal ode to comic art legend Frank Brunner that I did on this blog.  The site I designed for him is, to this day, among my favorites.

Well, now Frank has returned the favor with this testimonial:

I hereby testify that Spike Cohen’s Website that he designed for me is a pleasure to operate…and has all the bells & whistles that make it fun…..He’s good on Revisions too!

THANKS MYRTLE BEACH WEBSITE DESIGNER!

Thanks Frank!  Making Frank’s site was a multi-month labor of love, and I am proud to say that I designed it.  It was just AMAZING to sit with one of my comic art idols, and sharing my design ideas with him.

And better yet, for him to say “ok, looks good!” to my ideas.  There are times when God fulfills a fantasy, and doing website and graphic design work with one of the biggest names in the world of art and animation was a major fulfillment to me.

It was a confirmation early on in my website design career that I had made the right choice to get into website design, and I will always thank Frank Brunner for that opportunity.

FrankBrunner.net – Comic Book Artist Site by Myrtle Beach Website Designer

Lets Welcome FrankBrunner.net to the MBWD Family!

Let's Welcome FrankBrunner.net to the MBWD Family!

Myrtle Beach Website Designer has designed the Official Website of Frank Brunner, Comic Artist Extraordinaire!

For those who don’t know me, I am a HUGE comic book fan.  I especially love X-Men and Howard the Duck.

Well, guess who created Howard the Duck?  That’s right, Frank Brunner.  He also created Elric, the heavy metal sword-and-sorcery legend.  I won’t say that Metalocalypse borrows HEAVILY from Elric, but…

Frank has done drawing work for a slew of comic books, including Doctor Strange, Red Sonja, Conan the Barbarian, and many others.  He has done stuff for Marvel Comics, DC Comics, and many independent comic labels.

He has worked with Hanna-Barbera (Jonny Quest), Walt Disney Imagineering (Euro Tomorrowland movie), Warner Bros. (preproduction Batman design) and DreamWorks (Invasion USA).

Frank was even the head of character design for the Fox animated series X-Men, which incidentally is my favorite cartoon of all time.

In addition to all that, he has done the Jurassic Park, Star Wars and Mars Attacks trading cards.

He has done live-action work for Disney and ABC.

He has done animation work on about a dozen series, including X-Men and Dark Water.

He’s done poster art, record album covers, and pretty much everything else you can draw on.  Frank Brunner is an Icon of the Art World.

Anywho, a while back I get a call from Frank, telling me that he wants a website, but that he doesn’t just need some guy to throw some cheap-looking site together.  He wants someone to share his vision for what the site should look like.

So we get together and start sketching stuff out.  He gives me hundreds of pages (and thousands of dollars worth) of his art, and I put together his artistic dream in HTML format.

Frank wanted a site where he could showcase his legacy as one of the top comic book artists alive, sell custom and commission artwork, as well as feature his new project, Dino Force.

Frank also has put together books of his work, the newest of which is Mythos: The Fantasy Art Realms of Frank BrunnerMythos is 136 8.5″x11″ pages on heavy, gloss stock featuring the master fantasy and comic book illustrator’s work with such characters as Red Sonja, Dr. Strange, Conan, Elric, Howard the Duck and others.

If you would like to buy the book, purchase some amazing commission art, have Frank design a custom piece for you, or you just want to have your mind blown by some amazing artwork, go to FrankBrunner.net!

And let’s welcome Frank Brunner to the MBWD Family!
