Salsa Bootcamp and Salsa Party – Look What We Did!

Those who follow our blog will remember the site we made for Salsa Queen Productions, who does Latin Dance Classes and Events in the Myrtle Beach area!

Well, Bingles and I can hardly resist an opportunity to break loose and dance all night long!So we’ve been swept up in Salsa fever (and Merengue fever, and also Bachata….um, bronchitis).

On the Salsa Queen site, they list upcoming Latin Dance Events in the Myrtle Beach area. The most recent was the Latin Dance Bootcamp, followed later that night by the Salsa Party at the Caribbean Bar & Grill in Myrtle Beach.

Because we were busy, well, dancing, we didn’t get a lot of pictures, but here’s one that Adalia, the Salsa Queen herself, took of us during the bootcamp:

I believe we are doing the Bachata in this one.  Bachata is Bingles’ favorite dance.

The Salsa bootcamp is basically a 5-hour salsa class, where you are taught everything from the basics all the way to some higher-level intermediate stuff. It’s really a great way to learn how to salsa quickly!

We’ve been taking her classes on a somewhat-regular basis, so we weren’t exactly starting from scratch, but it’s always good to get a solid refresher course.

Then later on that same night, we went over to the Caribbean Bar & Grill and got down at the Salsa Party!

Here’s a picture I took of Bingles dancing with Ernie, one of the other dance students:

Unfortunately, the batteries died after taking one picture (don’t buy a camera that uses AA’s) so this is the only one I got.

BUT, if you go over to the Salsa Queen Productions Picture Gallery, you can see some more pictures of both the Bootcamp and the Party.

We will be doing more of these parties and bootcamps in the future, and hopefully we’ll bring a camera with a full battery next time.

Latin Dancing in Myrtle Beach – Look What We’re Going to Be Doing!

SalsaQueenProductions.com – Latin Dance Site by Myrtle Beach Website Designer

Lets all welcome SalsaQueenProductions.com to the MBWD family!

Let's all welcome SalsaQueenProductions.com to the MBWD family!

Remember when I said I could make a site in as little as 24 hours?  Well, here’s an example of one of those.

I was approached this past Friday by the Salsa Queen herself, Adalia Ellis, about making a website for her Latin Dance Company, Salsa Queen Productions.

She was already running a website for her Myrtle Beach Latin Dance Conference, but needed a more spiffy and unique-looking site for her company.

Salsa Queen Productions runs Latin Dance Classes in Myrtle Beach, SC.  She teaches salsa, merengue and bachata.  She also promotes Latin Dance Events throughout the Myrtle Beach/Grand Strand area.

Anyway, Adalia was about to begin a major marketing campaign on Monday, which would be centered around her website.  That meant I had 3 days to make her website.

I finished it up Saturday morning.

Go to SalsaQueenProductions.com, and you’ll see what the Salsa Queen is all about.  In addition to info about their Classes and Events, she also has a Picture and Video Gallery (pictures coming soon!) that shows all her exploits in dancing around the world.  There is also a page with more information about the Myrtle Beach Latin Dance Conference, an event that includes everything from dance lessons, clubbing, beach parties and massage thereapy, and much more!

So let’s welcome SalsaQueenProductions.com to the Myrtle Beach Website Design family!
